We had a great time on the food tour. Lindsay our tour guide was excellent. She was so knowledgeable about the area and the food . It was like 2 tours in one. The food was excellent, as well . We all really enjoyed ourselves . We will definitely be using Eating Europe again.

Our Eating Europe/Taste of Barcelona Gothic Quarter VIP Tapas and Wine food tour was absolutely fantastic. Kornelia was our guide and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She was passionate and engaging and expertly weaved together stories about Barcelona food, culture and history while taking our group to phenomenal restaurants around Born and the Gothic Quarter. Everything we ate was incredibly delicious and felt like we were experiencing the real Barcelona with a local friend who knew all the best places. We ended the tour with happy hearts, full bellies, and a deeper understanding and appreciation for Barcelona’s history and culinary traditions. If you are planning a trip to Barcelona, you absolutely MUST book this tour (and ask for Kornelia!).

We had an amazing time on this food and wine tour! Everything was thoughtfully organized, and it was the perfect way to experience the local culture. The food was delicious, the wine and specially Vermouth were excellent, and every stop had its own unique charm.

Our guide Lindsey was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both fun and informative by sharing fascinating stories about the region, its history, and its cuisine. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy each tasting.

My husband and I took the Barcelona Gothic Quarter VIP Tapas & Wine Tour and loved our experience. It was a great way to introduce ourselves to the older parts of Barcelona and the food was incredible. As a somewhat picky eater I was worried that the food would be way outside my comfort zone, but the guide had chosen foods that were genuinely delicious and were at restaurants we never would have found ourselves. Lindsay was a great guide! Thanks for such an amazing experience!

We had such a great time on the VIP Tapas Tour. We have done multiple tours in different places with Eating Europe. Lindsay was wonderful, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things. If you are on the fence, book it!

What a lovely introduction to Barcelona and Catalonian history by way of bites and sips! We met Marc at the designated spot and proceeded to visit three distinctly authentic eateries in El Born and the Gothic Quarter. Not only did Marc provide interesting commentary along the way, he also happily answered our many questions about his homeland, culture and traditions. We made several stops to pause and hear details about Spain’s origins and see relics that illustrated the stories.

We were offered more than enough food and generous pours throughout the tour. At one stop, a queue had formed outside but Marc’s connections allowed us to “skip the line” and go straight to a table prepared just for our private party.

Based on our experience with Marc, I would happily sign up for another Eating Europe tour in any city we visit. We had a very memorable time. Thank you for a beautiful afternoon!

This was my second food tour with Eating Europe, and it did not disappoint! Our guide, Kornelia, was fantastic 😍. She not only exposed us to delicious local food and drinks, but she was also very knowledgeable about local history. It was just the right balance of both! We had a small group of 6 of us total (not including the guide), with one being a family of 4, another solo traveler, and me. I find these food tours such a great way to meet people from other places, and it also is a great way for a solo traveler to actually get to try many different things which can be difficult to do on your own. Kornelia made everyone feel so welcomed, and was such a joy to talk to! I HIGHLY recommend doing this tour!

Our tour guide, Marc was very welcoming and a great host. We enjoyed the quaintness of each place we visited. The food was delicious and we appreciated the variety of dishes we tried. Our favorites were the peppers, eggplant, and bao buns. We also enjoyed learning about the food and history of Barcelona.

Maria was wonderful! She explained different traditions of the neighborhood, the food, as well as Barcelona culture. She was able to encourage sentimental conversations that made the night memorable. ❤️

Esther was an exceptional guide. She provided us with comprehensive information about the food and beverages we consumed. Additionally, we engaged in discussions about Catalan culture. Throughout our walk to various dining establishments, she enriched our understanding of the local culture.
