We had a fantastic tour with Esther. She helped everyone feel welcome. She lead us to the nicest, authentic stops for tapas where she patiently explained everything. We had a great night out in Barcelona with her tour.

My husband and I took the Barcelona Gothic Quarter VIP Tapas & Wine Tour and loved our experience. It was a great way to introduce ourselves to the older parts of Barcelona and the food was incredible. As a somewhat picky eater I was worried that the food would be way outside my comfort zone, but the guide had chosen foods that were genuinely delicious and were at restaurants we never would have found ourselves. Lindsay was a great guide! Thanks for such an amazing experience!

What a lovely introduction to Barcelona and Catalonian history by way of bites and sips! We met Marc at the designated spot and proceeded to visit three distinctly authentic eateries in El Born and the Gothic Quarter. Not only did Marc provide interesting commentary along the way, he also happily answered our many questions about his homeland, culture and traditions. We made several stops to pause and hear details about Spain’s origins and see relics that illustrated the stories.

We were offered more than enough food and generous pours throughout the tour. At one stop, a queue had formed outside but Marc’s connections allowed us to “skip the line” and go straight to a table prepared just for our private party.

Based on our experience with Marc, I would happily sign up for another Eating Europe tour in any city we visit. We had a very memorable time. Thank you for a beautiful afternoon!

This was my second food tour with Eating Europe, and it did not disappoint! Our guide, Kornelia, was fantastic 😍. She not only exposed us to delicious local food and drinks, but she was also very knowledgeable about local history. It was just the right balance of both! We had a small group of 6 of us total (not including the guide), with one being a family of 4, another solo traveler, and me. I find these food tours such a great way to meet people from other places, and it also is a great way for a solo traveler to actually get to try many different things which can be difficult to do on your own. Kornelia made everyone feel so welcomed, and was such a joy to talk to! I HIGHLY recommend doing this tour!

Our tour guide, Marc was very welcoming and a great host. We enjoyed the quaintness of each place we visited. The food was delicious and we appreciated the variety of dishes we tried. Our favorites were the peppers, eggplant, and bao buns. We also enjoyed learning about the food and history of Barcelona.
