An amazing night with our tapas tour guide Laura. I did not know what to expect. My expectations and anticipation were high and Laura delivered! I highly recommend to anyone wanting a true Barcelona experience!

This was our first time visiting Barcelona and we wanted an inside look into the food and culture, and Laura definitely delivered!! She was very knowledgeable about the food and region, and better yet she was fun and personable. Very professional, yet friendly and approachable. The food was *amazing* and Laura was a perfect hostess. We had a fabulous time and wish we could’ve done another tour with her! I would recommend her 10 out of 10 times! Spent Thanksgiving in Barcelona and decided to go on a good tour. Marc was our guide and he was super nice and knowledgeable about the city and the food. Every stop on the tour was better than the one before it, and it felt great to eat like a local. We had wonderful tapas and even better vermut and wine. If you’re in Barcelona and want to explore you should definitely book with Eating Europe. You won’t be disappointed!

Esther was just lovely and my family learned so much about Barcelona’s Gothic quarter. The tapas and drinks were absolutely delicious. Jamon, vermouth, Manchester cheese, cava sparkling wine and so much more – delicious.

Esther was amazing! We had an incredible time and tried so many delicious dishes. We learned so much about the history of the area and tapas. Highly recommend and we would love to go on her tour again.

Fantastic food and history tour. Our guide Noah shared his extensive knowledge of the local history while making it a very enjoyable outing. The tapas we tried were varied – from traditional to more modern dishes. All of them were spectacular. We are so happy we did this tour on our first full day in Barcelona. We now know what we liked, what we want to try and will not hesitate to duck into unique establishments. This tour was like hanging out with your friend.

Marc’s knowledge of Catalonia, its history and traditional food made our evening so enjoyable and delicious! As a Catalan, he gave authenticity to the experience! It was the perfect tour to begin our vacation in Barcelona, we felt better equipped to venture around the Gothic area of Barcelona!

Great introduction to the food of Barcelona! We joined the food tour through the Gothic Quarter on the first day of our long weekend trip to Barcelona. Lorea met us at the Ramon Berenguer statue on time and was welcoming, friendly, and shared a wealth of information throughout the tour. Our first stop was at a cozy bodega where we enjoyed earthy mushrooms, lightly fried anchovies, crispy pan con tomate, tangy tender meatballs, delicate & salty jamon, and an herby and smooth vermouth. Our second stop included a fluffy potato tortilla with chunky chorizo and flavorful onions; a creamy burrata with sweet grape tomatoes; and an amazingly tender pork cheek. Our third and final stop included Barcelona’s version of the crème brûlée, fig ice cream; and more tasty vino. Overall, it was a great experience with a small group and Lorea that provided a variety of food without being overfilling.

Recommend! We would go back and do it again! We had a great experience with guide Marc and only 2 other couples along in our group. He shared information about some of the buildings and historic places while walking to our destinations.
We enjoyed the food and drinks along with some chats with our new friends. We would definitely repeat it again!
